The following answers most of the questions about touring with the SeadooTours riding club.
There are no fees to join or to ride with us as we are NOT a tour guide company. We do not set any schedule for the summer for dates or places to ride. We post our schedule (on our website and Facebook page) only a few days in advance to take advantage of favourable weather and wind conditions in a particular part of Ontario. We no longer use an email list to notify people of rides unless you are a core member. Also, we don’t rent personal watercraft so you must bring your own PWC. Seadoo Sparks are welcome however they are uncomfortable to ride for our tours that last over 100 miles. Waverunners are welcome but it would be nice if that rear spout is turned off for our tours (especially when we are in any lift locks). The average speed on tour is 45MPH (72km/h). Our start times are fixed but our return time is not. If you need to return early, you will be on your own to find your way back to the launch point. There is no fixed time to return to the launch but typically its between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm but can be as late as 8:00 pm in late June or early July.
